With the Jeron 6893 Nurse Call Executive Information System you can gather and analyze data from all Jeron Nurse Call Activity in your facility to discover trends and deficiencies. The Jeron 6893 is a complimentary product to the Provider® 680 Nurse Call Systems.
Integrating the Jeron Nurse Call System with your existing computer infrastructure allows your staff to accurately provide information such as:

The Jeron 6893 Nurse Call Executive Information System, Standard or LAN version, is installed on a personal computer. All of the call activities from the connected Jeron Nurse Call Systems are automatically stored on the PC hard drive and may be accessed to provide a variety of reports as well as display, on the PC screen, current calls placed on the system. Up to five Provider® networked systems report to the master level. A total of 60 Master Stations with 2,650 Patient Stations may be interfaced to the PC running 6893 Windows EIS. Up to two Pro-AlertTM networked systems report to the master level. A total of six Master Stations with 384 rooms may be interfaced.
The user may enter the following information to sort the data and customize the report:
Date range
- Time range
- Masters (wards) reporting
- Call types
- Target report times
- Room number/Bed designator
- Patient ID
- System Name
- Master (ward) names
- Call text
The connection between the PC, the 6893, and the Jeron Nurse Call System is supervised. If the PC is unable to process call activity, a message and alert tone will be annunciated at all reporting Nurse Masters. Error messages provide the user with helpful information about conditions such as: Invalid date, time or room number entries, etc.
Reporting Function and Features
Summarized Call Statistics
The Summarized Call Statistics Report analyzes calling activities of the Nurse Call System and provides a record of response times for various call types. The user may choose any time period and target any individual Master, combination of Masters, individual Nurse Call Systems or combination of systems connected to the PC.
This report generates:
- Number of calls placed for each call type
- Average response times
- Percentage of calls answered within targeted response times
- Average time spent in the room
Hourly Call Statistics
The Hourly Call Statistics Report shows selected call type by hour activity for each day of the week. The user may choose any time period and focus on any individual Master, combination of Masters, individual Nurse Call System or combination of systems connected to the PC. This report displays total number of calls and percentage of calls answered within targeted response times.
This report provides hospital management with a means to analyze staff efficiency on an hourly basis.
Detailed & Summary Patient Activity
The Detailed Patient Activity Report furnishes a detailed record of calling activities for an individual room/bed or patient for specific dates and times. The report lists each event (placing of calls, audio connection, etc.) chronologically on a separate line. The section name, room number, date and time beginning each transaction (i.e., list of events).
This report provides nursing personnel with a means to track activities of a particular room or patient while providing total and average response times.
The Summary Patient Activity Report summarizes all calling activities for an individual room or patient during specific dates and times.
Each line of the report contains calling information followed by voice and staff response times. The bottom of the report lists totals and averages for all call activity for that room or patient.

System – Wide Activities
The System-Wide Activities Report provides an itemized record of calling activities by focusing on selected call types and specific dates and times. The report may focus on any individual Master, combination of Masters, Individual Nurse Call System or combination of systems connected to the PC. The calling activities are listed in chronological order and include the section names, room number, time and date. This report provides hospital management with a means to focus on selected call types.
Custom Reports
Jeron 6893 EIS is based on a Windows Access Database. This allows raw data collected by the EIS package to be imported into 3rd party report generation programs such as Crystal Reports.
